Welcome to Endo Health and Wellness.
I’m so excited you’re here today!
My name is Phuong and I will be your Coach, Trainer and Friend.
I am currently based in Melbourne, Australia as a Personal Trainer, and Endo specialist and am so deeply passionate about health, fitness and overall general wellness.
I’m a firm believer in setting the body right for it to function at its most optimum. Our bodies are destined for greatness, and with our every day stressors, it doesn’t get a chance to shine.
My Endo Story
This website was born because I was truly shocked at how little information there was out there about Endometriosis. As a personal trainer, I was a vision of health. I was hitting the gym 5 times a week, prepped my meals every Sunday, and practiced very healthy eating habits.
In January 2016, I was due for a pap smear, which, due to my busy schedule, didn’t get done until February. Results came back with ‘Low Grade irregular cell growth’ and I was referred to a specialist, who I didn’t get to see until March. She wasn’t concerned, but ordered an ultrasound just in case. That appointment wasn’t until April, and that was when they found a cyst on my right ovary.
It was a surprise for us all. It was an accidental find, and within two weeks, I had surgery to remove it. A week later, lab results came back positive for Endometriosis.
It took me about 2 days to learn how to say that word. And once I mastered the verbals of it, I did what every sane girl does…I Googled. But what shocked me the most was that there was barely any information on this condition. I decided, from that day forward, to find out as much as I could about Endometriosis.
I’m not a doctor, but I have put in hundreds of hours in learning as much as I can about the female body, about the hormones that are involved, and what can be done to bounce back from Endo, and be a stronger version of yourself.
1 in 10 women suffer from Endometriosis, and they may not even know it, I sure didn’t. There’s no way of testing for the disease, and most women only find out after they’ve had surgery.
Endo can seem scary, but don’t worry. My goal is to support you through this condition, to educate you on your body, and to guide you through how to kick endo’s ass to ensure you the best quality of life. I strongly believe in strengthening the body so it can put up a good fight.
So join me as I guide you through making positive and holistic changes in your life so you can take back control of your body and feel the best you’ve ever felt.
I’m really looking forward to joining you on this journey
Yours in health
