Welcome to Endo Health and Wellness.
I’m so excited you’re here!
My name is Phuong and I will be your Coach, Trainer and Friend.
I am currently based in Melbourne, Australia as a Personal Trainer and Endo Specialist. I am so deeply passionate about health, fitness and overall general wellness.
I am a firm believer in setting the body right in order for it to function at its most optimum. Our bodies are destined for greatness, and with our every day stressors, it doesn’t get a chance to shine.
They say knowledge is power. My goal is to teach you everything you need to know about this silent disease in order to regain control of your life, and to learn to live a normal life with Endo.
My Endo Story
This website was born because I was truly shocked at how little information there was available about Endometriosis.
As a personal trainer, I was a vision of health. I was hitting the gym 5 times a week, prepped my meals every Sunday, and practiced very healthy eating habits.
In January 2016, a routine pap smear showed results of ‘Low Grade irregular cell growth’. I was then referred to a specialist. She wasn’t too concerned about the results, but ordered an internal ultrasound just in case, and that was when a cyst was discovered on my right ovary.
Within two weeks, I had surgery to remove it. A week later, lab results came back with a diagnosis for Endometriosis.
It was the first time I had ever heard of this word. When I had the chance, I did what any girl in my situation would have done…I Googled. But what shocked me even more was that there was barely any information on this condition. I decided, from that day forward, to learn as much as I could about Endometriosis.
I’m not a doctor, but I have put in hundreds of hours in learning as much as I can about this silent disease, the female body, the hormones that are involved, and what can be done to bounce back from Endo, and be a stronger version of yourself.
1 in 10 women suffer from Endometriosis, and they may not even know it, I sure didn’t. There’s no way of testing for the disease, and women can only be correctly diagnosed with surgery.
Endo can seem scary, but don’t worry; my goal is to support you through this condition, to educate you on your body, and to guide you through how to kick Endo’s ass to ensure you the best quality of life. I strongly believe in strengthening the body so it can put up a good fight.
So join me as I guide you through making positive and holistic changes in your life so you can take back control of your body and feel the best you’ve ever felt.
I’m really looking forward to joining you on this journey
Yours in health
